Rod Seals

Rod Seals are an imperative part of all Hydraulic and Pneumatic cylinder applications. They are made and designed to create a seal between the cylinder rod and the gland.

Rod Seals are used to maintain and regulate any kind of fluids that are present when the cylinder is in motion. They will prevent any kind of leakage or corrosion on the cylinder or other parts of the unit.

The application of the Rod Seal will affect what kind of material will be used. The most commonly used materials are Polyurethane (PUR), Nitrile Rubber (NBR) and Fluorocarbon (Viton/FKM).
